New Course introduced in Oct 2021
Upon the issuance of the Consultation Conclusion by the Hong Kong SFC on the management and disclosure of Climate-Related Risks in August 2021, fund managers in Hong Kong should get themselves familiar with all the related requirements.
As early as Aug 2022, Hong Kong SFC Licensed Corporations who are counted as large fund mangers with AUM over HK$8 billions will be required to comply with the baseline requirements under the amended SFC Fund Managers Code of Conduct. This training will cover areas below:
-An impact studies – is this relevant to funds under your management?
-Difference between the Baseline requirements and the Enhanced Standard requirements
-What are the sample industry practices on management and disclosure of Climate-Related Risks?
-What do I need to do NOW and FUTURE on this?
To complete the training, you are required to answer 10 questions in the Assessment Test at the end of the training and have 6 questions answered correctly. Prior to taking the Assessment Test, you must watch the entire training video. Failure to do so may lead to cancellation of your Certificate of Completion.
