New Course introduced in Feb 2022
The revised SFC AML/CFT Guideline has taken effect from 30 September 2021, except for the new requirements of cross-border correspondent relationships, which will come into effect from 30 March 2022 after a six-month transition period and this training will provide some details on areas of changes such as including but not limited to below:
- SFC licensed corporations should conduct an institutional risk assessment at least once every two years or more frequently upon the occurrence of trigger events
- SFC licensed corporations are required to assess the AML/CFT risks associated with the customer and the business relationship when conducting an institutional or customer risk assessment
- SFC licensed corporations are required to conduct Due Diligence for Cross-Boarder Correspondent relationship
- SFC licensed corporations are required to take risk controls in accepting or handling Third-party payments
This training also provides you some insights on how to conduct AML Institutional Risk Assessment effectively for licensed corporations.
To complete the training, you are required to answer 10 questions in the Assessment Test at the end of the training and have 6 questions answered correctly. Prior to taking the Assessment Test, you must watch the entire training video. Failure to do so may lead to cancellation of your Certificate of Completion.
